River Stone Retreat

Had a lovely stay at River stone retreat. Meg was accommodating in helping with an early check in. The actual space is super cozy, peaceful and well appointed. Location is great with easy access to the local grocery store, a couple of restaurants and a beautiful river. Would highly recommend!!

Our stay at the Riverstone Wellness Retreat was excellent. The accommodation was comfortable and well appointed. Having access to a kitchen was very helpful. Even though there is no stove, there are 2 induction cook tops, which we used. The owner also let us use the gas grill. It was quiet. I liked the blackout shades. Parking was easy. The location was great for us because a family member was doing the Lake Placid Ironman race. She was staying in Lake Placid and we could get to her hotel easily in about 20 minutes. The location was close to Whiteface Mountain, which was amazing! Communication with Meg, the owner, was easy and efficient. She was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Megan is amazing. The place is very clean and the bed very conformable which are the most important things to me. The rental is exactly as it apears on the website. Wilmington is a cute little town with an wonderful Italian restaurant a small grocery and a small liquior store. There gas price was the best in the ADK. There are beautiful hikes trails and places to bike. We did a ride around Lake Fern which you can ride to from the rental. Absolutely a outstanding ride. We had a great time and a great host .

Clean, well-equipped unit in a great location for access to trails and peaks. After long days of hiking, River Stone Retreat was a comfortable place to relax and make meals.

This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything.
